Evertz unveils the 7707EO-3 triple SDI electrical to optical converter

Evertz has unveiled the 77707EO-3, a VistaLINK-enabled, triple SDI electrical-to-optical converter that delivers low-cost conversion of three independent channels of 19.4Mb/s to 540Mb/s SMPTE signals in a single module.

Each channel accepts one serial digital video input that complies with SMPTE259M (143-360Mb/s), SMPTE310M (19.4Mb/s), SMPTE 334M (540Mb/s), M2S or DVB-ASI (270Mb/s) and provides one fiber output at 1310nm.

Card performance monitoring is available at the card edge and remotely via VistaLINK.

The 7707EO-3 can reside in a 1 RU frame that holds up to three modules, a 3 RU frame that hold a maximum of 15 modules or a standalone enclosure.
