Entone showcases VOD solutions over IPTV with other vendors at IBC


The on-stand set up at IBC will showcase a centralized VOD server system, comprising of Entone’s StreamLiner VOD server software (pictured) with distributed sites managed by its Armada product.
Entone Technologies will demonstrate its video-on-demand (VOD) solutions for creating, managing, and delivering digital assets at IBC2005 in Hall 1 in the specially designated Content Delivery Zone. Entone will feature its StreamLiner network video recorder (NVR) and Armada intelligent asset manager solutions.

Entone is also showing its technology in tandem with other systems required for the build out of a VOD service. This includes Latens (stand 1:455) and its end-to-end VOD system comprising an Entone VOD server solution integrated with a TANDBERG Television iTTV delivery platform and Kreatel set top boxes. The system is protected by Latens Conditional Access (CA) solution. The on-stand set up will showcase a centralized VOD server system, comprising of Entone’s StreamLiner VOD server software with distributed sites managed by its Armada software.

Entone’s StreamLiner NVR solution will also be featured at the Widevine stand (No. 1:510) and TANDBERG Television stand (No. 1:461) where it will provide the VOD server technology to power TANDBERG’s on-demand demonstration. Visitors to the Hewlett Packard stand (No. 1:228) will be able to see Entone’s Armada running on a high-performance HP Integrity server.
