Editware and Ross Video announce strategic partnership

Editware’s Fastrack edit controller will now be packaged with Ross Video’s line of Synergy switchers.

The Fastrack SE edit system, utilizing video switchers, audio mixers, and other post-production tools, combines control of VTRs and video server channels in a hybrid linear/non-linear, real-time editing environment. Fastrack handles uncompressed, JPEG, I-Frame and long-GOP MPEG, DV25, and DV50 material, as well as all digital tape formats, and supports the 1080i and 720p 30 fps NTSC, 25 fps PAL, and 24P HD standards.

The Synergy series of digital production switchers includes both Synergy SD and Synergy MD.
