Doremi Hires Sales VP
Doremi Labs Inc., a Burbank, Calif.-based developer and manufacturer of video disk recorders (VDR), has hired Michael Archer to join its Digital Cinema team as vice president of sales.

Archer's new responsibilities include working with exhibitors and digital cinema integrators to increase awareness of Doremi's DCP-2000 digital cinema server. He will also take over responsibility for Doremi's entire product line for the pro and broadcast market.

Archer has more than 10 years experience in the industry. Prior to joining Doremi Labs he was the director of cinema at Agoura Hills, Calif.-based DTS Inc. where he was responsible for global business development, sales and post production. He also was the point person for the company's anti-piracy efforts, helped create corporate business strategies and spent two years in Belgium overseeing European Operations.

"I am very excited to once again join a high tech company that is leading the way with innovative technology to help enhance the movie going experience," Archer said.
