Doordarshan acquires Autoscript prompting systems

Doordarshan, the official public broadcasting channel in India, has purchased eight portable prompting systems from Autoscript for on-location work.

The combination of high-brightness TFT screens and Autoscript's WinPlus News XBOX USB system allows for usability and fast setup. The WinPlus News Software also allows for direct access to the newsroom system while on location and the ability to work as a standalone, when required.

With one of the largest terrestrial — and burgeoning digital — networks in the world, Doordarshan also has one of the world's largest studio systems, with 59 program production centers generating 1700 program hours per week for 27 channels distributed by more than 1400 transmitters.

See Autoscript in NAB booth C7817 or visit www.autoscript.tv.
