Digital Rapids Powers CCTV.com Streams
CCTV.com selected Digital Rapids Broadcast Manager software and 100 DRC-Stream systems for encoding, streaming and management of its live Olympic streams across China.

CCTV.com used 100 DRC-Stream encoding and streaming solutions to capture and encode Olympic video feeds o into live web streams. Enterprise-class Broadcast Manager live encoder management software was used for centralized management, monitoring and control of multiple DRC-Stream systems.

"Digital Rapids' DRC-Stream hardware and software ensure live video capture and streaming with excellent quality, and its stability is also very important for 24/7 live coverage," said Steven Shan, director of the CCTV.com Technical Management Office.

Broadcasters from China, the United States, Australia and New Zealand used Digital Rapids encoding, transcoding and streaming systems during the Games.
