Danilowicz Moves to Vitec Group
Vitec Group Communications has hired industry veteran Matt Danilowicz as its new vice president of sales for the Americas and Asia.

Known as television's "New Technology Guru" Danilowicz has more than 25 years experience in the broadcast industry and most recently served as vice president and general manager for Pinnacle System's broadcast division. Prior to working for Pinnacle, he was the vice president of business development for ParkerVision where he facilitated the recent sales of its assets to Thomson.

Danilowicz was the former CEO of iNEWS, a leader in TV news automation systems, and was vice president of worldwide channel sales at Avid.

He holds a degree in economics and English from William and Mary and is a former economist for the U.S. Department of Labor's Consumer Price Index Division.
