Century to release 2x tele-converter for mini DV

The Century 2X tele-converter has been designed specially to maximize the performance of high-resolution 3-chip mini DV camcorders, such as the Sony PDX10, TRV-950 and other 27-37mm front-threaded cameras.

Century’s new add-on expands the line, which already includes a wide angle adapter, fisheye, 16:9 widescreen adapter, achromatic diopter and .65X high-resolution wide-angle converter.

The Century’s 2X threads onto the lens front. The unit instantly doubles focal length range in the telephoto direction. For example, when applied to a Sony PDX10 camera lens, the usual 43mm telephoto position is transformed to a 86mm focal length.
