BTi’s PEG Attendant delivers updated news to PEG channels

BTi introduced PEG Attendant, a toolset for delivering continuously updated news, information and alerts to viewing and online audiences of public, educational and government (PEG) access channels.

BTi PEG Attendant’s set of features and automated background tasks enable operators to rapidly and continuously gather, update and cablecast user-defined local, regional and national news data to television viewing and Web site audiences.

BTi’s open application server design works in tandem with broadcast character generators from most major manufacturers. The BTi server manages incoming data, capturing data streams from wire services or Web sites and combining those elements, as needed, with manually entered data. User-friendly templates make it easy to add items such as community news and events.
