Broadcast Technology introduces intelligent DTV DA

Broadcast Technology will introduce a new addition to its 3000 Series of modular digital television equipment.

Combining DVB-ASI transport-stream monitoring, switching and distribution in a single module, the DTDA 3000 is a three-input, six-output, DVB-ASI distribution amplifier.

It can detect and report defects in incoming signal feeds and perform ASI switching/routing actions either automatically or by command from an external control system.

Typically aimed at monitoring and redundancy applications, the DTDA 3000 is ideal for operational monitoring of ASI transport streams and service switching in fully redundant broadcast solutions. The DTDA 3000's speed of operation enables practically uninterrupted channel switchover, even in a completely unmanned environment.
