Brick House Video to introduce SDI switcher

Brick House Video is adding a fully featured broadcast specification SDI/composite hybrid rack-mount 1RU switcher to its suite of compact, production and post-production equipment.

The VTB-2D switcher is ideal for outside broadcast vans/trucks and small to medium edit suites. Based upon the VTB-1D, the latest generation switcher incorporates significant enhancements, including frame-store synchronizers for asynchronous working and digital audio processing, including slave mixes.

An 8-input switcher, the VTB-2D has program and preview SDI and composite outputs with two auxiliary outputs. With standard wipes and mixes, the switcher offers soft edge, variable width/color border and auto fade to black. It has full editor capability for Sony or Grass Valley protocols.
