Breeze launches SDI MPEG-4 Deep Blue encoder

Breeze Technologies, the UK MPEG codec manufacturer, launched its MPEG4 SDI Deep Blue encoder at NAB.

Aimed squarely at broadcast and professional video content distribution and archive applications, Deep Blue encodes MPEG-4, -2 and -1 and offers an array of advanced functions designed to increase system integration appeal by lowering overall system cost.

These include simultaneous decode while encode (confidence replay), video loop-through, on-board color bar generation, time base correction and loss of signal warnings.
