Brazil’s SBT adds two HyperX graphics

Brazilian broadcaster Sistema Brasileiro de Televisão (SBT) has installed two Chyron HyperX HD/SD-switchable graphics systems for use in its studio operations in São Paulo.

The move follows the successful installation of two Chyron graphics systems in SBT’s newsroom operation last year. SBT chose the HyperX systems to provide graphics as part of a complete station upgrade.

The open platform capabilities of the HD/SD-switchable systems provide SBT with interoperability with platforms in other areas of the station. The system’s graphics engine enables SBT to create multilayer effects and transitions, including automated data display for election news broadcasts. The system also offers real-time 3-D animation.
