BEXT releases DVB digital TV transmitter

BEXT has introduced the all solid-state DVB digital modular television transmitter.

The DVB (Digital Video Broadcasting) transmitter is available in configurations supporting 8-VSB for use in the United States and other DTV standards abroad. The DVB transmitter, which makes use of advanced MOSFET technology for VHF and LD-MOSFET technology for UHF bands, supports custom power levels and features a high-performance built-in modulator.

The BEXT DVB transmitters are air or liquid cooled and provide for protection from overload, excessive VSWR, heat, cooling system failure, out-or-range AC input and incorrect operator intervention. Full remote control via parallel and serial interfaces is available.
