Belgian mobile provider turns to LV77000 rasterizer

Belgian mobile production company Outside Broadcast has purchased nine Leader LV7700 multistandard SDI rasterizers for use in its fleet of HD and SD production vehicles.

Outside Broadcast uses the LV7700 to color grade for the various types of displays commonly used for programming. The large number of HD viewers watching on an LCD or plasma panel means it isn’t safe to rely only on CRTs for color grading, said Outside Broadcast's technical and operations manager Ronald Meyvisch. With the LV7700, it’s possible to check individual component signal levels and color vectors to make sure signal output conforms fully to standard broadcast parameters, he added.

The Leader LV7700 rasterizer enables waveform, vector, picture, audio and status/protocol screens to be selected individually or as four-in-one simultaneous displays.
