Bay area KNTV rakes in regional Emmys

The Northern California chapter of the National Television Academy has awarded KNTV NBC11, which serves San Francisco, San Jose and Oakland, 13 Emmy awards, including the News Excellence award for the second year in a row.

The awards recognize news and entertainment programming excellence, as well as the individual efforts of a number of professionals in the areas of reporting, photography, editing, craft achievement and graphic design. The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences awards the Emmy for outstanding achievements in television.
