Baron Services introduces upgrades to VIPIR weather system

Baron Services has unveiled several upgrades for its VIPIR weather system designed to make it a complete weather solution equally adept at handling severe and daily weather coverage, radar display and hurricane tracking within one computer.

The upgrades include an easy-to-use interface, sleek visuals and sophisticated weather analysis.

Baron Services also has added high definition capability to VIPIR. The HD version brings a crisp picture quality with clear graphics and 16:9 display. FasTrac and StormWarn are also available in HD, providing a complete end-to-end high definition weather solution.

The new chroma key/weather wall integration feature brings weather right to the fingertips. By using a mounted camera to interpret hand gestures, just about anything once done with a mouse can now be performed at the wall. The system’s voice recognition tool allows meteorologists to work directly from the weather wall by voicing their commands.
