Barco releases iStudio with Hydra streaming module, 3-panel UXGA projector

Barco will show its iStudio, an advanced all-in-one solution for managed monitoring, with the latest Hydra streaming video input modules at IBC2003. It is the industry’s only three-panel UXGA projection display. Barco will also introduce new DLP projection modules.

With the iStudio, users can now size and move a virtual monitor anywhere on the screen for maximum viewing.

The company’s new three-panel UXGA projector is the latest addition to the existing Overview P LCD product family. Barco also will demonstrate its new Overview D series for broadcast and video production environments. Featuring Barco’s proprietary optical dimming and dynamic feedback technology, the D series constantly optimizes its display for brightness and contrast performance while maintaining excellent color uniformity.

The Barco D-Cine Premiere, an advanced digital cinema projector, also will be featured at the convention. Installed in digital theaters globally and at leading post-production houses for digital mastering and electronic intermediates, D-Cine Premiere is the digital movie display reference.

Barco will also show ILite and DLite, state-of-the-art LED display solutions.
