Axcera unveils new low, medium power transmitter line

Axcera has unveiled the Pioneer Series of low- and medium-power transmitters at the National Association of Broadcasters convention.

Axcera designed the Pioneer Series to offer broadcasters a transmitter solution that requires only a low initial investment but can be upgraded to full-operation in the future.

The Pioneer Series uses the latest amplifier technology, tuned broadband, in a compact package. Available in both analog and DTV configurations, the new Axcera transmitters offer a completely modular design with a chassis/backplane configuration.

The Pioneer Series makes use of broadband amplifiers, which allow for simple, inexpensive channel change; a compact size; near 100 percent upgradeability to high-power application; parallel amplifier and power supply modules for added reliability; and digital modularity with both linear and non-linear pre-correction.
