Aurora to offer new HD products for Mac, Diversity DAs, converters

Aurora Video Systems will offer a number of new products at NAB, including uncompressed HD video products for the Macintosh and a new family of conversion and distribution amplifiers.

The company’s offerings include:

  • ReaktorHD, an uncompressed HD video product for the Macintosh that allows users to monitor video on low-cost LCD monitors while taking advantage of RT Extreme within Final Cut Pro. ReaktorHD features one HD/SDI input, two independent HD/SDI outputs, an RS422 deck control, and Composite S-Video and Component Video outputs.

  • PipeSDI, a low-cost, high-quality 10-bit uncompressed SD solution available for FCP. PipeSDI is the SD digital solution for the Pipe family of products.

  • PipePro video capture and editing card.

  • Diversity family of compact digital video converters and distribution amplifiers (DAs). The three products include a 10-bit SDI DA and two 12-bit ADC and DAC converters.
