Ascent Media Hires New Exec for EMEA
Ascent Media Systems and Technology Services has hired Paul Wilkins as its chief solution architect of the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) business unit. His responsibilities will range from overseeing assessment of client requirements to project engineering management.

The company launched the London-based EMEA operation earlier this year. Formerly A.F. Associates Inc., Ascent Media Systems and Technology Service's industry expertise includes digital content management and multi-channel program origination.

"The workload for our EMEA operations has started to grow significantly, making this is a very critical appointment," said Richard Scott, senior vice president of EMEA.

Wilkins has more than 25 years experience in the systems integration business that includes project engineering and management, as well as product management for server and tapeless production technologies. Over the years, he has worked with Sony Broadcast and Professional Europe, Pinnacle Systems and Avid Technology Europe.
