Al Jazeera Satellite News adds Vizrt technology

The Viz|Trio character generator system helps broadcasters improve their on-air look.
The Al Jazeera Satellite Channel News has purchased two Vizrt Viz|Trio character generator systems for its on-air news programming.

Al Jazeera, based in Doha, Qatar, was the first 24-hour news channel to broadcast in Arabic. It will launch an HD, 24-hour news channel in English within the first part of 2006, using additional Vizrt systems.

ART Sports, in Jordan Media City, has made an initial purchase of four Viz|Trio CG systems to be installed in facilities in Amman, with further upgrades to be added in Cairo and Jeddah.
