ABC rejoins NAB
The Walt Disney Co.’s ABC television and radio network announced last week that it would rejoin the NAB after a two-year dispute over policy.
The network left the NAB because of differences over media ownership limits being set by the FCC. ABC complained that broadcasters used the group to lobby for strict ownership regulations on the networks while working to ease limits on local TV station ownership, Reuters reported.
ABC is the only network of the big four to be a member of NAB. The network currently owns 10 television stations and 70 radio stations.
