World Championship Sports Network has launched VCI Solutions' Orion as its key business system for sales, traffic, and accounting operations.
WCSN, a 24/7 cable network that offers Olympic and lifestyle sports coverage, is creating a business model that is continually evolving as a direct result of multiple stream formats, sporting event times, contracts, formats, and sponsorships. The Orion system accommodates this business model by providing flexibility in avail types and secondary billing.
Orion's ability to integrate and interface with other systems, such as automation and program management streamlines operations further for a more automated workflow. Features include non-timed avail management, multiple engines, import legacy system history, and enhanced InVision DealMaker integration.
