Video Technics and Pathfire have teamed up to create a streamlined way to ingest media directly into the Video Technics NewsFlow centralized database.
With the Pathfire DMG desktop, users can drag-and-drop Pathfire-delivered content into NewsFlow through the Video Technics Media Exchange server. Anyone on the NewsFlow shared network, can instantly access the ingested media by using the Video Technics Proxy Editor software client.
NewsFlow was installed this year at KOTA in Rapid City, S.D. and includes Apella video clip servers for multichannel ingest/playout. The newsroom solution also includes the Video Technics Proxy Editor, Media Exchange Server for transferring files, Pathfire's transfer service and networked storage.
