Utah Scientific, a Salt Lake City-based provider of routing switchers and master control switchers, has appointed Bob Natwick its northeast regional sales manager. Natwick will oversee territory encompassing the area from the District of Columbia north to New England.
Natwick, who has more than 25 years of experience in the broadcast industry, was a member of the founding team of Modulus Video in 2003, helping to lead the way in MPEG-4 video compression technology. Previously, he worked for about 20 years in sales and management with Ampex Corp., Grass Valley Group, DiviCom (now Harmonic), and Tandberg Television. In 2005, Natwick founded his own sales representative company in the mid-Atlantic region, representing Modulus, Utah Scientific, and other product lines.
Natwick currently serves as section manager in the Washington, D.C., Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers, and he is a member of the Society of Cable and Telecommunications Engineers. In his new position with Utah Scientific, he reports directly to Harmon.
