True Visions, the Thailand-based cable and satellite television provider, has implemented an Observer media logging and monitoring system from Volicon to enable compliance with broadcasting regulations. The Observer automatically records all aired content and provides an easy-to-access digital archive over a 30-day period as required by the Government of Thailand's public relations department.
The Volicon Observer replaces a videotape-based system that recorded and archived video from each channel. Engineers were required to search manually through video to find clips, and to change, label, and store tapes at the end of each recording.
The Observer provides 24/7 recording and archiving of all video as it is broadcast over each of True Visions channel. It offers instant access to specific video clips via a Web browser interface, allowing users to share clips via e-mail with colleagues. True Vision is now broadening its use of the system for verification of advertising and competitive analysis.

Sales, installation, and integration services have been provided by Trinergy, a Volicon reseller based in Thailand.
