Teddington Studios Takes HDC-1500s
October 24, 2007
Teddington Studios has acquired four Sony HDC-1500 camcorders with large lens adaptors, demonstrating their first step into the HD Production market. Initially, these camcorders will be used to record High Definition productions, such as Green Green Grass, which is now in its third series of being shot in HD, as well as other series.
Having previously hired Sony HD Studio Cameras, as the development towards HD becomes more significant, Teddington Studios sought a more permanent solution. Operations Director, Paul Darbyshire, commented that "the reliability, quality of images and support that Sony offers in their latest technology, has given Teddington confidence in progressing towards HD with their products. "We have been a Sony customer for many years and therefore trust the brand, so we are happy to take this next step forward with them," said Darbyshire.
