A search firm, Russell Reynolds Associates, will work with the NAB Search Committee to find the next NAB president and CEO. That’s the word from the NAB board meeting in Washington this week.
According to NAB Search Committee Chairman Bruce Reese, the president and chief executive of Bonneville, representatives of Russell Reynolds were be introduced to the NAB Board of Directors yesterday. The firm has experience placing chief executives in Washington lobbying advocacy organizations. The NAB Search Committee includes Reese and members of the NAB Executive Committee. Reese said the NAB board will be given regular updates on the status of the selection process as the search moves forward.
Former NAB President David Rehr resigned from the association last month; his last day at the association headquarters was last Friday. Janet McGregor, NAB chief operating officer and financial officer, will serve as acting president and chief executive officer during the interim.
