Ross Video has announced the appointment of Fred van Elk to be regional sales manager for Central Europe. He will be based in Germany and will manage sales for Germany, Austria, France, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.
"We're pleased to have Fred join the Ross EAIME sales team," said Sharon Quigley, international sales manager for EAIME, Ross Video. "His extensive experience and knowledge of the broadcast industry will be an asset as we continue to expand our in presence in Central Europe."
Prior to joining Ross, van Elk worked for BFE GmbH, a Siemens-owned systems integrator, where he was responsible for the planning and implementation of TV Malagasy (TVM) in Antananarivo, Madagascar, as well the technical organization of the 2007 African Youth Championship football games in the Republic of Congo.
van Elk is fluent in German, Dutch, English, French, and is familiar with Russian.
