Roger Keating Joins Hearst-Argyle Television

Roger Keating has joined Hearst-Argyle Television Inc. as senior vice president of Digital Media.

The company plans to tap Keating’s experience in targeted media content development, distribution and sales to create new products, communities and services for its customers.

Previously, Keating was corporate executive vice president at Time Warner Cable in Los Angeles, where he oversaw the launch of its new broadband and telephony services. Before that, he held executive level positions at AOL and Comcast Cable. Keating began his career as a management consultant.

Keating also founded Zatso, a streaming-video based personal newscast service that launched in 40 local markets in partnership with several leading media companies.

Hearst-Argyle is in 26 TV markets. Its local Web sites aggregate more than 20 million average monthly unique visitors, generating more than 175 million monthly page views and more than 6 million video streams.
