Red Bee Media has appointed Bob Johnson as its chief technology officer.
Johnson will lead the team responsible for all aspects of technology design, development, and delivery in the United Kingdom and internationally. Johnson has been acting as interim CTO for Red Bee Media since January, and will now fill the role permanently with a seat on the executive management team reporting to the CEO, Pam Masters. He will be based at the Broadcast Centre, Red Bee Media's headquarters in London W12.
Johnson has extensive experience in the communications, high technology and media sectors, working across a range of disciplines, including, application development, application maintenance, infrastructure, networks, business and technology outsourcing, and operational management, built during an 18-year career with Accenture.
