Quincy Newspapers Installs Miranda Converters

Quincy Newspapers Television Group--owner of 11 stations in the Midwest and Eastern United States--has installed the Miranda iControl system and purchased Densite Series converters and distribution amplifiers.

QNI has purchased and implemented the Miranda gear as part of an ongoing upgrade and standardization of the company's broadcast infrastructures.

Quincy has already installed Miranda's HD and SD distribution amplifiers, D/A and A/D converters and digital audio probes at WGEM-TV (NBC) in Quincy, Ill.; WSJV-TV (FOX) in South Bend, Ind.; and WVVA-TV (NBC) in Bluefield, W.Va. Next, the group will install Miranda distribution and interface cards at WXOW-TV (ABC) in La Crosse, Wis., and WQOW-TV (ABC) in Eau Claire, Wis.
