Vislink Group has announced the creation of a worldwide services business unit and appointed Dan Mcintyre as its Managind Director.
Vislink Services consolidates the professional and technical services resources from Advent Communications, Hernis Scan Systems, Link Research, Microwave Radio Communications and Western Technical Services (WTS).
The business unit provides design, planning, project management, structured cabling, integration, installation, commissioning, training, and ongoing support for Secure Communications solutions such as satellite earth stations and microwave terrestrial links including fixed point-to-point, air to ground, outside broadcasting, electronic news gathering, and mobile.
Dan McIntyre, formerly General Manager of Vislink Services US, has been appointed to the new role of Managing Director of Vislink Services and will be based in North Billerica, Massachusetts, US.
"With the formation of Vislink Services and the News & Entertainment, Law Enforcement & Public Safety and Marine & Energy business units, Vislink is better organised around its customers," said Duncan Lewis, Chief Executive of Vislink. "Vislink Services will provide the professional and technical services skills in offices around the globe so we can delivery total turnkey Secured Communications solutions in all of our markets."
Other newly formed business units include News & Entertainment, Law Enforcement & Public Safety and Marine & Energy.
