Sundance Digital recently equipped Colorado-based Comcast Entertainment Television (CET) with its Titan automation system. CET--which debuted on Sept.1--allows Comcast customers to check the latest scores on high school sports and watch other lifestyle programs.
The Titan system can control hundreds of channels in a facility and remotely manage several locations. Its TimeLiner--a "timed event" automation tool--is also part of the system.
Also, Titan controls a Leitch Nexio server, Pesa 16x16 router and a Chyron Microscribe. The system will soon fully integrate with the Encoda Broadcast Master traffic software.
