IBC2009: Miranda to show Kaleido-X16 HD Multi-viewer

Miranda Kaleido-X16 multi-viewer
Miranda Technologies is planning to demo its multiple new 3Gbps/HD/SD products at IBC in September, including its Kaleido-X16 multi-viewer — along with an array of other new or upgraded products including its Nvision Enterprise Class routers, a XVP-3901 up-, down- and cross-converter with advanced audio processing, and its latest modular channel-branding processor (model LGK-3901).

Miranda said its Kaleido-X16 multi-viewer was designed to emit near noiseless output for control room use and for ENG applications. The X16 is designed for 3Gbps/3D and HD/SD/analog video, offering enhanced layout flexibility and tighter router integration.

The Kaleido-X16 is housed in 1RU chassis with 16 inputs, two multi-viewer outputs, and a 16 x 2 router, providing seamless integration with the firm's Nvision router family as well as third-party routers) — to allow expansion up to 1,152 video inputs (and 144 multi-viewer outputs).

Designed for cross-point redundancy, the Enterprise Class HD/SD router is geared to improving return loss, as well as cable-length performance.

Miranda will be in Hall 8, Stand B80.
