Harris Corp. is touting a family of high-tech tools that provide clinicians with real-time access to a wide variety of medical and patient information in operating room environments and other healthcare situations, using the same high-definition systems used by broadcast networks for monitoring multiple video sources.
Advanced multiviewer technology allows medical personnel to conference with other specialists, Harris showed attendees at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) conference Feb. 24-28 in Orlando.
“We have combined the strengths of Harris IT enterprise systems and our world-renowned broadcast solutions to effectively create situational awareness and intelligence in the operating room—right at the point of care,” said Jim Traficant, vice president of Harris Healthcare Solutions.
The multiviewer offerings includes the Predator II and Predator HD series for facilities that require a compact, scalable monitoring architecture; the FusionPro+ series, where flexible configuration of multiple input sources is required for centralized monitoring; the modular, scalable NEO SuiteView, which allows users to create a customized, system-wide monitoring solution tailored to their operation; and the Centrio monitoring system.
