Game Creek Video Hits the Road with Sony's New HDC Cameras

Game Creek Video recently purchased 39 Sony HDC multiformat cameras for its mobile production units.

Sony's new line includes the HDC-1000 studio, HDC-1500 and HDC-1550 portable cameras, all designed for 1080i or 720p.

"With these new cameras, the ability to fairly easily move between either fiber or triax operations and to present this option to our customers, is a huge advantage," said Pat Sullivan, president of Hudson, N.H.-based Game Creek Video.

Game Creek operates two HD trucks, six SD digital production trucks, one analog truck and six "B" trucks that provide tape, graphics and remote office capabilities. The company has provided its services to ABC, CBS, ESPN and Fox, among others.

In January the company took Sony's multiformat cameras to cover the Screen Actor's Guild for the E! Network and was also on hand to cover the Academy Awards.
