January 16, 2008
Front Porch Digital has announced that the company is reinforcing its commitment to the South American media market by reaffirming its arrangement with LineUp Engenharia Electronica Co., Ltd., of Sao Paulo, to support sales and support of Front Porch Digital content storage management (CSM) systems in the country.
"Front Porch has demonstrated its dedication to the dynamic Brazilian market in many ways. In addition to securing a strong dealer network, the company frequently pays on-site visits to our customers and recently made the decision to print its latest catalog in Portuguese," said Nilson Fujisawa, director of LineUp. "The new Brazilian government mandates regarding digital television create many opportunities for content storage management solutions. We see emerging opportunities in Brazil for CSM in education, government, and video and film production. We at LineUp are proud to be a part of Front Porch Digital's growing global team."
Founded in 1990 by Brazilian broadcast engineers with an extensive professional track record, LineUp was one of the first companies of its kind to serve Brazil's broadcast industry. Today LineUp specializes in engineering support, maintenance, and consulting; systems integration; and products and solution sales.
"LineUp has a stellar record in the broadcast industry, and we are pleased to be continuing our strong relationship with them," said Glen Green, vice president of sales, Latin America, for Front Porch Digital. "Latin America is an important market for us, and our goal is to provide unrivaled service and support in Brazil and throughout the region. LineUp will help us attain that goal."
