Former Wohler Exec to Head Up Cobalt Digital Sales and Marketing

Cobalt Digital recently named Christopher J. Shaw to lead the company's sales and marketing efforts.
"Chris has the necessary experience and expertise that will be invaluable to us as we move forward in the marketing and sales of our newest technology, especially the 8000 series of SD up/down and cross converters," said Gene J. Zimmerman, president of Cobalt. "We have the award winning technology for today's exploding digital environment. Now we also have a director of sales and marketing with the skills and savvy to take the products to worldwide customers that need them."
Shaw was most recently director of sales for Wohler Technologies/Panoramadtv Inc. and has also worked for electronics products companies in California, New Jersey and the United Kingdom. In addition to sales and sales management, Shaw's experience base includes contract negotiations, customer training, new business development and channel and distribution development.
"Cobalt Digital is ready and eager to meet the burgeoning global needs for digital conversion technology, and I believe that Chris Shaw will lead us in meeting our aggressive sales goals," Zimmerman said.
