Emmis Communications Corp. has named Peter Lund to their Board of Directors.
Lund, who joined CBS in 1977, is a former president and CEO of CBS Inc. and CBS Television and Cable from 1995 to 1997. Prior to that, he was president of the CBS Broadcast Group.
The addition of Lund increases the Board to nine members. Emmis Chairman and CEO Jeff Smulyan notes, “[Lund’s] a visionary in the field and his 40+ years of experience in every facet of the television and radio business will add another important perspective to our board.”
