October 19, 2006
One of the more interesting grants in the FCC's list of experimental applications granted between 8/1/2006 and 9/1/2006 is license WD2XYJ. This license, granted to Hatfield and Dawson Consulting Engineers, allows operation on 93.5, 94.7, 96.1 and 107.5 MHz to develop and test enhancements to an FM radio transmitter system under a Space and Naval Warfare (SPAWAR) Systems Center contract in El Centro, Calif.

None of the other experimental grants listed in the Public Notice affected frequencies used by broadcasters. Refer to the FCC's list of experimental applications granted between 8/1/2006 and 9/1/2006 for additional information.
