Ascent Media Group has made several new appointments to its Media Management Services group.
Richard Buchanan has been appointed chief operating officer; Jim Hannafin as senior vice president of sales and services; Tyler Leshney as vice president of operations and Mark Girard as vice president of technical operations. The team's responsibilities include expanding the group's range of services and building new sales and marketing channels.
Buchanan, a 28-year telcom veteran, will manage the company's media management businesses. Prior to joining Ascent Media Group, he served as senior vice president, operations and business development for Crown Media International--formerly the Hallmark Entertainment Network.
Hannafin will lead AMMS sales activities and focus on customer relationship management.
Prior to coming on-board at Northvale, N.J.-based AMG, Leshney oversaw merger and acquisition activities, joint ventures, new business and strategic partner alliances for Ascent Media Group Corporate.
Girard will oversee the operational and technical servicing for AMMS.
