Euphonix Appoints Mike Franklin VP of Sales for North America

Euphonix, a manufacturer of large-format digital audio consoles and digital recording equipment, has named Mike Franklin vice president of sales for North America effective immediately.

“Mike has been an integral part to the U.S. sales team for years and is well known across our U.S. user base,” said Russell Waite, executive vice president of sales and product marketing for Euphonix. “His experience and leadership qualities make him a great mentor for the established and junior sales force.”

Franklin joined Euphonix from SSL in 1997 as the sales manager for the company’s Southern region. After six years, Euphonix promoted him to lead broadcast sales in the U.S. Franklin was also instrumental in managing the Euphonix Max Air U.S. Broadcast Tour, which took the console to hundreds of TV stations throughout the United States. Most recently Franklin served as the vice president of broadcast and Eastern U.S. region sales.

“Euphonix is coming off its best year in 2007. With the release of new products and our growth in several areas such as Mobile Production, it is a very exciting time to be in this new position leading the charge,” Franklin said.
