Eight new stations have begun broadcasting digital signals, according to the National Association of Broadcasters.
The eight stations are:
* WFRV-TV, Green Bay, Wis. (CBS)
* WBZL-TV, Miami, Fla. (WB)
* KOB-TV, Albuquerque, N.M. (NBC)
* WMC-TV, Memphis, Tenn. (NBC)
* WUNP-TV, Raleigh, N.C. (satellite of PBS affiliate)
* WKHA-TV, Lexington, Ky. (satellite of PBS affiliate)
* WKMR-TV, Lexington, Ky. (satellite of PBS affiliate)
* WCVN-TV Cincinnati, Ohio (satellite of PBS affiliate)
The new stations bring the total number of DTV stations in the United States to 244, according to the NAB. The association says 75 percent of U.S. households now have at least one DTV signal.
