Crystal Vision Appoints First Head of Sales, Seeks International Sales

Crystal Vision has appointed its first Head of Sales following the promotion of the company's Technical Sales Manager, Stewart McGhie, to this new strategic management position.

Crystal Vision is focused on growth in 2008 through the introduction of a new product line, combined with a higher market share for its existing products, says the company. McGhie's first task will be to further increase the amount of non-domestic sales through the recruitment of an additional salesman for international territories.

"With us looking to recruit additional sales personnel it was necessary to put in place a more formal structure, and so I am delighted to take on this new role and hope to play a key part in the continued growth of Crystal Vision business," said McGhie. "With the release of a whole new range of graphics storage and keying products we will see new market opportunities opening up and this will present new challenges which I look forward to dealing with."

In his role as Head of Sales Stewart will direct the company's sales strategy as well as taking on the overall management of the sales team. His responsibilities will include recruiting new members of the team, deciding which areas salesmen will cover and dealing with conflicts and exclusivity in territories. Stewart brings extensive technical knowledge to the role with his degree in Electronic Engineering and thirteen years broadcast experience. He has fulfilled the position of Technical Sales Manager at Crystal Vision since 2002, which in addition to looking after a number of international territories has seen him involved in investigating new products and product variations, working closely with customers to ensure the product range continued to develop in the right direction.

The new International Sales Account Manager is being sought by Stewart now and will be given full responsibility for sales in specific geographic areas. Managing relationships with customers and distributors, the ideal candidate will have previously enjoyed an international sales role and will have a technical equipment background in a broadcast related industry.
