Crown Castle Mobile Media has selected Azcar Technologies as its systems integrator for its Pittsburgh broadcast center, which will process and distribute digital content to mobile devices.
The project should be complete by the end of the year.
As part of the project, Azcar will build out the development/demo system while designing the broadcast center and will integrate various systems and new technologies to include content acquisition, processing and encapsulation, network timing and distribution of the overall monitoring and management systems. A planned mobile media network will be monitored and controlled from the video operations center that Azcar designs.
