Couch Potatoes Rejoice: First 300-Hour TiVo DVR

TV viewers can now record up to 300 hours of programming thanks to the partnership forged between Korea-based Humax, a digital satellite set-top box maker, and TiVo. The two companies are debuting the T2500TiVo series2 DVR and an 80-hour unit, the T800. TiVo features include SeasonPass and Wishlist, allowing viewers to find and record television shows whenever they are on.

"The T2500 and T800 are the first of many groundbreaking entertainment products that Humax is committed to bringing to the U.S. market," Humax USA's sales and marketing VP, Tony Gonclaves said.

Series2 subscribers can use the Home Media features to use the online scheduler, which allows viewers to schedule recordings from any Internet connection and move content between two or more TiVo Series2 boxes in the home.
