Charter to Carry HDNet

Charter will soon carry two 24-hour HD networks, HDNet and HDNet movies. The channels will initially be deployed in Charter's cable systems in University Park and Highland Park, Texas as well as Glendale and Burbank, Calif.

Charter is the first cable operator to offer HDNet, which features an eclectic mix of programming that will soon include selections of classic and recent TV series from Paramount. HDNet Movies serves commercial-free films converted from 35mm to HD, including Warner Bros. films from another new HDNet deal.

To receive HDNet on Charter, customers must subscribe to Charter digital cable and Charter HD service. Charter reaches 6.7 million customers in 40 states.
