Anton-Bauer Names New Execs

Anton/Bauer, a brand of The Vitec Group, has promoted Shin Minowa to the position of vice president, marketing and business development. The company has also appointed Graham Ramsey as vice president of sales.

In Minowa’s new role, he will direct, develop and implement the overall marketing, partnering and relationships with all broadcast and industrial manufacturers and key vendors. Minowa said his goal in this position is to provide the company with a dedicated and strategic marketing effort to better serve its customers and explore new business opportunities.

Minowa initially joined Anton/Bauer in 1993 as sales representative-OEM. He was promoted to director of sales and corporate planning in 1995, and promoted again in 2001 to vice president, market development.
Prior to joining Anton/Bauer, Minowa was the assistant to the sales manager for the European market and later marketing/sales coordinator for Pilot Corp. of America.

Ramsey, an industry veteran with sales experience spanning more than two decades, moves to Anton/Bauer from Clear-Com, another Vitec Group brand. In his new capacity as vice president of sales, Ramsey will oversee all sales for Anton/Bauer worldwide and will work closely with Minowa.
Before joining Anton/Bauer, Ramsey was vice president of worldwide sales and support for Clear-Com, where he established and directed the sales and support efforts in Cambridge, U.K., and in Alameda, Calif. Prior to that, he spent 18 years at Vinten Broadcast Inc., as general manager responsible for the commercial operation of Vinten in its global markets.
